Main Functions of Government Office Land Office: Collection of Land Development Tax Namjari Ozmakhariz Government Khas and Assigned Property Management Miscellaneous Land Development Tax Collection. Custody of Government Khas Bhoomi. Settlement of agricultural land for the landless. Proposal of Namjari. Maintaining up-to-date land records in the office. Collecting khas from haat bazaar where applicable. Guards of Government Waterworks. Land development tax and various fees: Agriculture ----------- 01 (one) rupees per hundred. Residential --------- Taka 05 (five) per cent. Commercial ---------Tk 15 (fifteen) per cent.
